Completion of the Provincial Archives MB project in Murska Sobota

The work took place at the location of the former building known as the former "Muralist". The reconstruction of the existing western part of the building and the removal and addition of the eastern part of the existing building were planned. During the execution of the works, it was found that the western part of the existing building was also unsuitable for renovation, so this building was completely removed.

The newly built complex consists of two interconnected buildings.

Object 1 has floors P+1, and object 2 has floors K+P+1+M with a built-in elevator. There is a flat roof over both buildings.

The Provincial Archives thus acquired over 1,700 square meters of space with archival warehouses, a reading room and a lecture hall. The facility will also house an exhibition space, a library, work and auxiliary spaces for staff, an inquiry room and a conference room.
